7th Tennessee Cavalry CSA

I have a copy of the Seventh Tennessee Cavalry (CSA) By J. P. Young of Company A, published by Morningside Bookshop - (book still in print). First printed in 1890.

It has a roster of men, including Blacks, who served with the company. Included are engravings of some of the men and officers who served in it.

If anyone has a relative that they know was in the 7th Tennessee Cavalry, I would be happy to look them up. But please, no fishing expeditions. I'll be happy to look, if you are certain that your relatives served with that regiment.

My gg grandfather was Lt. Col. William. F. Taylor who was in Company A. His picture, the first that I know our family has ever seen of the man, is in the book. He bears a remarkably striking resemblance to my son William F. Taylor II.

It gives an excelent running account of the actions the companies served in.
