Try the microfilm rolls of M331 -Confederate Staff officers - available at the National Archives in Atlanta and DC -and Wallace State College in hanceville, ALA.

These are all the commanders and staffs from units, post, etc. and they contain information not found in the regular Compiled Service Records rolls. Just look under the name of the officer you seek - and there's lots on commissary officers in here - and you will find his file.
