I don't have the exact location but Trousdale was in Sumner County and located on the railroad. Probably close to modern Gallatin. It was apparently used as a rendevous during the orginization of the Provisional Army of Tennessee and as a training facility. In July 1861 the following units of the PAT were at Trousdale

Col.Fulton's Regt.-later the 8th Tn inf
Col. Palmer's - later the 18th Inf
Col. Savage's - later the 16th Inf
Col. Newman's - later the 17th Inf
Col. Battle's - later the 20th Inf.

The 7th Inf was also orginized at Trousdale.
