Mr. Knight is correct in that the Tennessee would have looked very similiar to the Arkansas. I believe her lines were going to be a little slimmer though. Shipbuilding in Memphis took place at the old Memphis Navy Yard. The site is located just north of downtown and is currently occupied by the Pyrimid Arena. It was extensively excavated during construction but no direct evidence of the Tennessee was found, although timber shavings and such were located.
