Actually, the field pieces at Confederate Park are WWII vintage. They have 2 37MM AT guns, 2 57MM/6 pounder AT guns and 2 105MM Gun/Howitzers. As I recall the CW pieces they had were donated during WWII metal drives. Fortunatly, many of the CW pieces donated were reserved out of the recycling stream, thanks to the foresight of an army ordanance officer and stored at the Washington Arsenal. That is where many of the guns now in the National Battlefield Parks came from. It is rumored they still possess a number in storage.
