Hello -

as I understand things, the 50th Tenn. Inf. underwent some reorganization in Mississippi after their parole. One of my Stewart Co. TN ancestors went AWOL shortly after his parole (see URL below). Mebbe he figured one dose of U.S. Grant was enough....???
