John Huffman joined a company G from Washington County, Tennessee. Where does he show in the census of 1850 and 1860 ?

I live in Cherokee county, Georgia and long wondered where John Huffman was buried after he died. Looks like John Huffman was sent south from Shelbyville/Tullahoma before the Union Army moved south through Tullahoma.

Roll for March/April Dated June 8th, 1863 – Sent to Hospital sick on June 8th, 1863.
Roll Dated July/Aug 1863 – Died at Cherokee, Georgia on July 19th, 1863.
