E. D. Onby 8 Tenn. Cav.,” no further records

C. May 5, 1865. Also one Alfred Owensby enlisted Sept. 10, 1862 at Newport, Cocke Co., Tenn. as a Pvt. of Co. I, 62 Tenn. Mtd. Inf. CSA. age 25 yrs”
