Re: Camp Donaldson/Cumberland Hospital at Nashvill

Bill Hewitt, Saw your posting while looking up Cumberland Hospital. Had an ancestal Uncle in the 73rd Ill that died there Nov. 1863. Also I had a 3rd great grandfather, and two ancestral uncles in the 125th Ill. They being John Ritter, Richard and Adam Mills . All of Co K near Indianola (then Dallas) Ill Vermilion County. Out of curiosity, who was your ancestor in the 125th? I spend a lot of time on genealogy and the Civil War but have never corresponded with anyone else who had an ancestor in the 125TH There must be a lot of us out there. Too bad we could not start an organization "Sons of the 125TH" thanks for the info I was hoping to find photos or location of Cumberland Hospital. You're posting helped me out. Michael O'Keefe
