31st Tennessee Deaths at Fort DeRussy

A detachment of the 31st Tennessee was one of the few units sent from the eastern side of the Mississippi to the west. In early 1863, this unit lost a large number of men to a smallpox outbreak at Fort DeRussy, La. Would anyone know the names of any of the men who died at this place and time? (Other than Joshua Boren of Hawkins County, who died at Harrisonburg, La., and apparently was the first man infected.) Would dearly love to find this information. As Lt. John Carson of Co. H said, "Many days were spent in caring for the sick and burying the dead. For a time it seemed that not a man would be left to tell the story of the ill-fated crew of Tennesseans." I would like to tell their story, but I'll need help if I'm to put any names with it.
