Could someone with access to fold 3 please check this man's record for his place of birth or residence, and where he died ? I have conflicting info he died at Salisbury NC as a POW. Another says he was killed aboard the Sultana. His Mother Catherine, applied for a pension in 1869. They may have been from the Monroe, McMinn county area. Thanks for any help.
