Hi Alice,

As far as we know, John never left Tennessee. We're not 100% sure yet that this "J.A." is the John we're looking for. The majority of my wife's family lived in Lewis County TN, but nothing either of us have found has anyone going to Texas.
So maybe we have the wrong person.
