W F Cloar

Trying to identify who the W. F. Cloar is for whom a medical report was made after the Battle of Jonesboro.
The medical report lists him as in Co. A 33 TN. I cannot find him listed in that unit, but do find a William Cloar in Co. I 22 TN Cav (Barteau's). He is probably related to the Cloars who were from Obion Co., TN who were in the 33 TN.

Abstracted from the medical report:
Native of western TN near KY line
Age 24
Brown hair, brown eyes, florid complexion, 6 ft, 180 lbs +/-, strong athletic man
Had never been sick in his life untill after the Battle of Shiloh
Been in CSA 3 years
Wounded at Battle of Shiloh: ball passed through lower portion of gastrocnemius muscle. This healed rapidly in course of 2 weeks.
30 Aug 1864 at the Battle of Jonesboro a minnie ball passed entirely through the right leg and fractured the tibia, scraped the skin off the anterior surface of the left leg, just over the tibia. Right leg amputated on the field of battle near the junction of upper with middle third.
Wound of left leg appeared to be very slight and the bones were uninjured. Next day patient was removed from the battlefield to Griffin, GA. Remained there.

Does anyone have access to the Griffin, GA hospital records? Did he survive the war?
