The caption says, "William John Parker, Johnson County, Home Guards". Just curious if this might be a photo of the nemesis of Daniel Ellis he continually referred to as "Old Bill Parker" ? Does anyone have any other info on him ? Also wondering about the uniform, is it indeed Civil War era ? Appreciate any insight !
