There is confusion about his surname Beckham or Beckum..He is listed with both spellings,also his DOB year was either 1834 or 1846(12 years is quite a stretch)..I believe the latter in both surname and birthdate was factual...William Neal(W.N.) was a Pvt in 1st Tenn.Inf.(Fields/Maney)and was from Giles County and he passed there in 1918.
