Maybe this will help- closest match I found was a Pvt. A. J. Allen serving in company "G" of the 12th TN Infantry.

Companies B,C,D,F,G,H,I,&K were recruited in Gibson County in 1861.

Did not find any Cisero (Cicero) McCaleb anywhere. Closest may be a S. McCaleb who served in "D" company of the 12th Infantry, assuming there was some conection between the two men. It's also possible his official name may have been something else and he used a middle name out of preference.
Name misspellings/alternate spellings are common in CW records, especially Confederate ones.
