Hudson, 37, Private, Company C, 11th Tennessee Infantry, Conscript, enlisted February 18, 1863 at Shelbyville, Tenn. for 3 years, captured at Missionary Ridge November 25, 1863, forwarded to Provost Marshal at Louisville, Ky. December 7 where transferred to Rock Island Barracks, Ill. prison, arriving December 9, “Does not wish to fight against U. S.,” subscribed and sworn to the Oath of Allegiance to the United States, June 20, 1865, description: age 40, light complexion, dark hair, gray eyes, 5’ 8-1/2”, resident of Charlotte, Dickson County, Ga., released June 20 , 1865
