Gentlemen:

Thanks very much (!!!!) for you kind time and info; I had investigated John F. Minter in the 40th Tenn./5th Confederate/Walkers Regt. some time ago.

I was not aware of the other Minters however. Do either of you know if those units may have ever had proximity to the Stewart Co. TN (modern day LBL) area perchance???

I am particularly intrigued by the one unit being involved at Johnsonville in 1864. Wonder if Uncle Riley might have been a partisan/guerrilla or sumthin..????
