Hello,

I was informed today that the training camp site for the famous KY Orphan Brigade - Camp Boone, located on Hwy. 70 NE of Clarksville, TN. is under development threat.

The Montgomery County, TN Commission meets on July 8th and again on July 12th to decide the fate of this land. We need any and all interested people who wish to help save this property to come to the meeting and voice concerns. The commissioners need to know that saving historic land is important for tourism. The planned development is a truck stop - and perhaps there is a way to have it both ways. The truck stop can happen and land to commemorate the camp site can still be held aside.

Please help save this historic land. I will post more details as to where the meeting will be held and what time.
