Some people study the Presidents like we do the Civil War. One such gentleman that I know of is John Cooper and I asked his opinion of said event and this is what is replied.

I will paraphase as I lost my copy and paste. Ouch. LOL Buell would remain in command after the date of September 13, 1862. John also said that Andrew Johnson held the rank of Brig. General and of course Buell was a Major General. So how could a Brig. arrest his superior?

As soon as I have some free time I will look myself and see if I can verify some dates.
