You can identify for both Confederate and Union units from the individual counties of Tennessee from "Tennesseans in the Civil War," Part 1.

Then, you will find partial Rolls of Honor [casualties] for many of these units in the "Military Annals of Tennessee, Confederate,", 2 Volumns. Commonly called "Lindsley's Annals."

For instance, Co. F of the 154th Sr. Infantry regiment was enrolled from Henry County. In Lindsley's you will find some 35 men who died or were killed in service. Many at Shiloh, a few at Murfreesboro, two at Belmont and one at Jonesboro. Then, quite a few who "died in service."
