Colonel Harvey Washington Walter

Seeking copy of 1878 tribute paid Colonel Harvey Washington WALTER (of Holly Springs, MS) after his death from yellow fever, written by poetess Fannie Green (Borland) MOORES of Memphis (daughter of Colonel/Senator/Doctor/Newspaperman Solon BORLAND), most likely published in newspaper where most of her works were found. Long time family friend, Gen Albert Pike was editor/publisher Memphis Appeal 1867-68.

Fannie is noted in her obituary and by Gen John M. Harrell, by article in 1894 Confederate Veterans paper, as one of the Bells-Of-The-Ball in Memphis and Little Rock in her youthful days.

Fannie's "Dead Confederacy"
<http://members.cox.net/confed/poetry/poem99.html> written in Princeton, AR 1865, published in London's "Cosmopolitan" 21 Dec 1871 following Father Abram P. Ryan introduction of her work in England.

Listed in her front page obituary, published in The Daily Memphis Avalanche, Sunday August 24, 1879 (for she too died of yellow fever at age 30, followng her husband's and sister's husband yellow fever deaths), are many of her other works, of which we also need copies.
