I have no information on any POWs that did not die other than access to the Fort Delaware Society database for that facility. You should obtain this man's Compiled Military Service Records from either the National Archives directly, or from the Military Records Search Service which supports this website.

From the dates you presented, I can tell you that this was the result of a special exchange which predates the Dix-Hill Cartel (overall exchange agreement) signed on July 22, 1862.
