Hi Ken,

The men who died from disease in the hospital that was in the Female Academy were buried right behind the place. Over 300 men died there. There was a measles outbreak in Camps Boone and Burnett, plus other camps in the area.

Some years ago, when the academy building was torn down and a road pushed through with a bridge where it was, 127 of the graves were dug up and moved to Riverside Cemetary. The rest of the graves evidently remain on site.
