Speaking of Brownlow, went through my old collection of Civil War CDV's handed down from my g-g-gf, the adjutant gen'l of Vt 1861-66. There is one of the good Parson--a very stern-looking gentleman who, from the honesty of his expression, might've benefitted from a massive daily intake of straight prunes. Felt like i wuz about to get a whoopin' just looking at him. Let me know if you want a whoopin', I mean a copy, too. Don't know anything about Brownlow but I get the impression he was a Unionist? Sorry if that's a moronically obvious question.
