To answer Joe's question, the 10th Tennessee Cavalry was part of Forrest's command, and would've been covering the retreat of the Army of Tennessee southeast of Tullahoma on June 30th. On June 27th, Forrest crossed the Duck River west of Shelbyville while Wheeler's command was literally being driven into the river or rounded up by Union cavalry.
