Hi,

I may stand corrected but I believe the 63rd Tenn. was in Virginia in 1864 through the surrender at Appomattox. They were attached to Longstreet's Corps during his East Tennessee campaign and returned to Virginia with him. An ancestor, James J. Land served in Company D of the 63rd. Hope this is correct ( I think it is ! ) hope I could help.
