Sir,

Check out the "Official Records" for some of the accounts of the engagement. It is embedded in the reports for Wheeler's Raid into the Sequatchie Valley and then into Middle Tennessee. I know of no order of battle that exists for the raid. I know that bits and pieces of various regiments were gathered and then they began the movement. The operation was not an example of military efficiency and the proper use of cavalry. I have looked at Wheeler's papers and glosses over the operation in large part.
