Mr. George Purvis..I checked the list of the names of
Confederate soldiers from Mississippi buried here in
Washington County, Virginia and the list shows that
E. W. Powe was in Co. B of the 13 th. Mississippi Regt.
This list was made in 1869 by Prof. Davis ( Emory &
Henry College ).The grave stones only have numbers on
them.
