civil war play in nashville

Please help me spread the word to people interested in the civil war and Tennessee history. I am trying to get out information about a civil war play that is being performed by John Holleman and Company at Travellers Rest Plantation Museum. This historical home, off of Franklin Pike near Harding Place, was the Confederate headquarters just before the Batle of Nashville. The play is called Kindly Remember Me. Act one if made up of letters and memoirs of civil war soldiers. Act two is about The Battle of Nashville and the events that happened on the road we travel on every day.

Perfromances are at 7:00 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (9th/10th/11th) and next Wednesday and Thursday (15th/16th). Regular tickets are $10 and student tickets are $5. To get there, follow the signs on Franklin Road to the Museum. At the end of the long, gravel drive is the parking lot. From there, follow the path past the house to the performance space ("the barn").

For more infomration, call John Holleman at 210-0463 or the museum at 832-8197 or travellersrestplanation.org.

Thank you for helping me spread the word.

Yours,
John Holleman
