Trying to verify what happened to my g-great grandfather Williamson Raney of Bedford Co., TN. He was with 23rd BN TN Inf (Newman's). I know he died when my greatgrandmother was very young. She was born in 1861 and I was told he may have died in the war. How can I find info on him?
