My residence has a Wartrace Address-following the battle at Murfreesboro/Stones River, Bragg relocated to the Tullahoma area, with Corps bivouacked for many miles around. Hardee's Corps was at Wartrace (One of my Great Uncle was in the 1st Florida). The gaps mentioned, Hoover's and Liberty, were abandoned after heavy fighting. Hoover's gap was one of the early locations of the utilization of the Spencer 7 shot repeater by the Yanks. This action helped lead to Bragg's eventually being maneuvered out, or as some may say out maneuvered.

Bell Buckle School as such, most likely associated with the city of Bell Buckle is some 7 to 10 miles from Wartrace.
