Hello,

Camp Duncan, formerly Camp Forbes and later Camp Humphreys, was located at the old county fairgrounds. These were located where Old Russellville Pike and (I think) Cave Road intersect. This is east of Wilma Rudolph Blvd. and the railroad tracks and close to Dunbar Cave area. It is a housing subdivision today.

The 14th Tennessee, who formed here, moved up the railroad to Hampton's Station and completed their training at Camp Quarles there before going to Virginia to fight.
