Thank you for your information. No, I don't know where he is buried. He was killed in Nolensville in November, 1862, not too long before the battle of Murfreesboro. He is probably buried in that area, but that is just a guess. Would love to know the story of the pistol. My guess is it was taken as a souvenier by a Yankee soldier after he was killed. More Confederate artifacts ended up in the North than were found in the South it seems.
