Alan, Try the the McClung Collection at the Old Customs House in Knoxville. It is likely re-opened after renovation by now. And a paper you will want to chech is the UNION FLAG. I don't want to mis-speak as to where it was from but it's editor made Brownlow look like a choirboy.
