I am looking for any war related information on my GGGFather, his name was Pleasant Jefferson Rawley (Rauley). He fought for the Confederacy and was killed on the battlefield. All I have that may link him to any particular unit is a letter he sent home to his wife and children from the battlefield. He mentions one officer in this letter and he called him "Beuaregard". I need this info in order to join with the SCV. He was a resident at that time of the Bagdad Community of Jackson County, Tennessee. His father was David Rawley (Rauley)
