The Tennessee in the Civil War Message Board

In Response To: Civil War ()

Members of the Tennessee and kentucky Message Boards, Civil War:

Information of the Bushart family in the Civil War has been forwarded to the representatives of the CWRT to try, in my inexperienced fashion, to place before you a record
of Civil War military history of my family, 1861-1865.

My Civil War survey was made with continued enthusiasm as it was repetitively noted that the veterans of the Civil War, named Bushart, were part of the commands of major leaders, North and South, and in actuality opposed each other in historical battlefields in the war. They were on the rosters of battles from Belmont to the campaign of Nashville, Tennessee. Their military history was sent to the attention of Mr. Jim lewis with my personal request to use the areas of notice for posting of submitted military records at his disposal and appropriate posting on CWRT and Message Boards to complete my effort to show an exceptional effort by my fathers ancestors, North and South, to be reviewed by knowledgeable Civil War enthusiasts in Kentucky and Tennessee.

I am proud to communicate on the Message Boards and to be the only outstate member of the CWRT of Middle Tennessee.
I would like to do this myself but I have to admit honestly that to be in the company of those more capable
of presenting this according to records of the United States is a valuable feature of being a member of the Boards and the CWRT ( brief copy of my survey sent to Jim Lewis, Stones River Battlefield and Mid Tennessee CWRT).

Thank you.

James Samuel(Jim) Bushart, St. Louis, Missouri
