Col. William S. Hawkins was Gen. A. P. Stewart's nephew, a poet of some note, and a prominent Nashville resident. He died in Nashville 11-7-65. Does anyone know where he's buried? His obits (in the Nashville Union and the Banner) don't say, and he doesn't appear in the burials index (at TSLA) of Mt. Olivet or City Cemetery.
