Hello, Can anyone out there confirm that the 48th Tennessee, Quarles' Brigade, Walthall's Division, did NOT participate in the Battle of Franklin? My information states the regiment was allowed to stay behind the army so that its members might visit friends in and around Maury County. The regiment apparently rejoined and fought at Nashville but I need confirmation that it was not at Franklin. Thanks. Eric
