Does anyone have any information on the raid that took place around the foot of Daus mtn, Tn. It was a wagon train 800 wagon strong headed to Chattanooga to supply union soldiers and was raided by general Wheeler. He destroyed what he couldn't take with him. There is little written about it, I live close to the area and would like to have some more info. on it.
