I'm looking for more information on the 26th Tn Inf as well as my ggg-gf, John Robert Franks. He was in Co B of the 26th until he fell from his horse and crippled his arm, as the storey goes.

Any help would be appreciated. Am looking for battle service records for the 26th, etc.

The CWSS site gives a brief history of the unit, but I'm looking for a more in-depth outline of their engagements, if possible. Thanks.
