13th Gore's TN Cavalry end of war

I have been trying to find out if part of this regiment might have been at the battle of Franklin and/or Nashville. I know that the official records from the Tennesseans in the Civil War put them following Sherman on his march to Atlanta, but it seems that several (many?) of the men from White county were not with him. I ordered Capt. Leftwich's records (Co. D)and they say he was "in arrest since about 1st November 1864." I was curious if many of Co. D, which was from Sparta, refused to move out with Dibrell when he left Middle Tenn. and marched to Saltville. One ancestor's (Elisha Meredith)records have him pledging loyalty to the Union in December 1864 in Nashville. While another ancestor, W.R. Hill, last record shows him in company muster roll for June 30, to Dec. 31, 1864 as "Commanding the company" for this Co. D, even though he was officially still a 2nd Lt. (He was always called Captain after the war.)I have no records of those parolled in Washington Georgia. Can anyone point to resources for this?
