The May 17th meeting of the Clarksville Civil War Roundtable will feature CWRT president Greg Biggs doing Part 1 of "The Atlanta Campaign." The meeting begins at 7 PM in the cafe of Borders Books in the Governor's Square Mall on Hwy. 79/Wilma Rudolph Blvd. just south of Exit 4 off I-24 in Clarksville.

This phase will cover the events of early 1864 and the kickoff of the campaign from Dalton through the first Kennesaw Line in June.

Greg is a former Associate Editor of Blue & Gray Magazine and has written several articles on the war. He has also contributed to a number of Civil War books and is preparing his own on Georgia Civil War flags. He lived in Georgia a number of years and has conducted tours of the Atlanta Campaign for Civil War groups.
