Hello. I would like to learn more about the 5th Tenn. Co. H. as my great grandfather James Thomas Harper served with this group.
He was wounded at Shiloh.
My late mother said he was shot again, but at what battle we do not know, except he was shot through the same leg again.
I know he moved to Arkansas from Jackson, Tennessee but if that was his area of enlistment, I do not know.
Any information about this group or this man would be appreciated.
