I'm want to find out where my great great grandfather, John Henry Tilger (an immigrant from Bavaria) is buried. According to his widow's obituary he died in 1864 in Nashville, Tennessee, of fever while working for the United States Army. His home was in Missouri. Everything I can find on the web refers only to soldiers. Any ideas?
