Re: Tenn, units in western Va, in 1861

Supposedly there were somr Teen. troops that died In western Va. and were buried at Oakland Pres. Church(closed for years) in Alleghany Co.,Va. In 1960's when I-64 was built thr remains were reburied in Mountain View Cem. in
Clifton Forge,Va. along with the Haynes family cemetery
remains which was also moved. The marker at cemetery says nothing about Tenn. soldiers, just story of Haynes family
removal. However, there is a small UDC and Tenn. flag at
site.
