Thanks John, I have this piece. The vast majority is malarky. Now, if I could only find out what happened to Thomas whom I believe died in Memphis Ca. 1879 and Richard's wife Maria (or Mariah)who does not show up in the 1870 census for Memphis, I would be very happy and their story would be most complete.
