Re: pows in camp douglas, a comment

My Aunt said she got some of her information on Nathan and his brothers from Mrs. Fred Greer. I'm sure that is the family you are talking about. I want to write a narrative about Nathan and his brothers. Is there anything remarkable about Bib Hollow? Do you spell it Bibb or Bib? If you can describe the place, be detailed if you don't mind, I'd sure apprecaite it. I have applied for a grant to write about my family and if I can use it, I will thank you in acknowlegements. I expect to travel down there this next summer... to Maury, Lawrence and Hickman Counties. Can't wait. Your relative, J.C., may have played with Nathan.I found where Richard Greer died in Newnan, in a hospital there of dysentery in late 1863. Nathan died first, then Richard. Take care. You can email me.
