Re: 62nd NC (CSA) at Zollicoffer, Tn

The figures for those captured at Cumberland Gap are 8 of 10 captains, 25 of 27 lieutenants, and 486 enlisted men, all sent to prison.

There are three McClures on roll, including J. J. McClure, 2nd Lieutenant, born Oct. 6, 1842, released on oath of allegiance at Johnson's Island, Ohio, June 12, 1865. He had earlier been on roll with Co. "G", 25th North Carolina Regiment.
