Our Unit voted on the 23rd Tn. Co K. as this unit merged with our unit 17th Tn. Co K. Thanks for the information on the flags. The guys will "case" the flag with Capt.'s permission in April(our first event of the year)with a ceremony for our new units flag at the same time.

I have found some information on the 23rd Co. K. and even ten names which helped when they voted on which unit. There are two 23rd's one is a battlion and one a Regiment. The 17th and 23rd merged with the Regiment.

Any information would be a great help. I also found the 23rd Regimental flag but do not know if companies had flags.
